Demand for Resale HDB Flat
Relatively steady proportion of newer flats resold in Q4 2023 and Q1 2024 as such flats tend to command higher prices in view of their longer remaining lease. Based on transaction data, about 27% of the resale flats sold in each of the two quarters had a lease balance of 90 years or more.

Increase of HDB Resale Flats Sold Above $1 Million
According to transaction data, the number of HDB flats resold for at least $1 million has risen for the fifth straight quarter in Q1 2024, with 185 such flats sold. This is also the highest number of million-dollar resale flats transacted on a quarterly basis – boosted by the record-breaking 74 deals done in January 2024
